Using plus sign in sending an international text message

Texting is now the fastest way of delivering a message. It costs less when compared to calling by long distance. While most cellphone users nowadays are very familiar with how a text message is sent especially when sending an international text message, some are yet at their early stage and needs guidance.

So, if you are a newbie to the high tech world here is what you need to do.

Send a text message overseas using your cellphone but make sure your cellphone’s text message system has been activated by your service provider. Once set up then you can let your fingers do the work for you.

Steps in sending an international text message

1. Using your cellphone, go to messages;

2. Choose Create New;

3. Choose Text Message;

4. Type in your message;

5. Press send;

6. Choose new number;

7. Enter the (country code) then (area code) followed by the (phone number) when calling a direct phone line or land line phone and disregard the (area code) when texting a cellphone.
